Terms of Service

Last updated: August 10, 2026

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Notice Guard (“Notice Guard,” “we,” “us”), including the website at noticeguard.ai and the associated application. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use Notice Guard.

2. What Notice Guard does

You send us a document — a photo, a PDF, or a forwarded email — and we use an AI model to summarize it, identify dates and amounts, flag things that look like overcharges, and draft a reply if one seems warranted. You can save dates to a schedule and get email reminders before they’re due. That’s the whole product. Section 6 below explains the limits of what the AI output should be trusted for.

3. Accounts

You need an account to use Notice Guard, created with an email address and either a password or a magic email link. You’re responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us if you believe your account has been compromised.

You must be at least 18, or the age of legal majority where you live, to create an account.

4. Your content

You own whatever you upload or forward to Notice Guard. By submitting a document, you give us a limited license to store, process, and transmit it — including to the third-party services listed in Section 8 — solely to provide the analysis, reminders, and other features you’ve requested. We don’t sell your documents or use them for anything beyond operating the service for you.

You’re responsible for having the right to submit whatever you upload. Don’t send us someone else’s private documents without their permission.

5. Acceptable use

Don’t use Notice Guard to:

  • Upload content you don’t have the right to share
  • Break any law, or infringe anyone’s rights
  • Attempt to access another user’s account or documents
  • Interfere with the service, reverse-engineer it, or abuse it at a scale beyond ordinary personal use
  • Use the drafted replies to send anything fraudulent, harassing, or deceptive

We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

6. AI output isn't professional advice

Notice Guard’s summaries, deadline extractions, overcharge flags, and draft letters are generated by an AI model. AI makes mistakes — it can misread a document, miss a detail, or state something with more confidence than is warranted.

Nothing Notice Guard produces is legal, financial, medical, tax, or other professional advice. Before you pay a bill, sign something, send a drafted letter, or make any decision based on what Notice Guard tells you, read the original document yourself and confirm the details. For anything with real money, legal, or health consequences, talk to a qualified professional.

7. Subscriptions and billing

Notice Guard offers a free plan with a limited number of documents per period, and paid plans with higher limits. Paid plans are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis until you cancel. You can view your current plan and usage in Settings. We’ll give reasonable notice before any price change takes effect for existing subscribers.

8. Third-party services

Providing Notice Guard means sending your data to a few specialized services, each doing one job:

  • Anthropic — analyzes each document you submit
  • Supabase — stores your account, documents, and files
  • Resend — sends sign-in, reminder, and digest emails
  • Stripe — handles billing for paid plans

Each operates under its own terms and privacy practices. See our privacy section for specifics on what we’ve verified about how they handle data, or our Privacy Policy for the full picture.

9. Exporting and deleting your data

You can download everything Notice Guard holds about you, or delete your documents, uploaded files, and schedule, at any time from Settings. Deleting removes your data from our systems; it doesn’t reach copies a third-party service may retain under its own terms — see Section 8.

10. Termination

You can stop using Notice Guard and delete your data at any time. We can suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, or discontinue the service with reasonable notice. Sections 4, 6, 11, and 12 survive termination.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

Notice Guard is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don’t guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the AI’s analysis will be accurate or complete.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Notice Guard isn’t liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service — including a missed deadline, a financial decision made on the basis of the AI’s output, or a document it read incorrectly. Our total liability for any claim won’t exceed what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we’ll let you know — by email or a notice in the app — before it takes effect. Continuing to use Notice Guard after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
