Privacy Policy

1. What this covers

This policy explains what Notice Guard (“we,” “us”) collects when you use noticeguard.ai and the associated application, why we collect it, and how to see, export, or delete it. It should be read alongside our Terms of Service.

2. What we collect

  • Account info — your email address, and a password hash or magic-link session if that’s how you sign in.
  • Documents you submit — whatever you upload or forward to your @noticeguard.ai address (photos, PDFs, forwarded emails), plus the AI-generated summary, extracted dates and amounts, and draft replies.
  • Schedule and reminders — dates you’ve saved and whether a reminder email has been sent for them.
  • Billing info — for paid plans, Stripe handles your card details directly; we only see your plan, subscription status, and billing history, never the card number itself.
  • Basic usage data — how many documents you’ve processed in the current billing period, so we can enforce plan limits.

We use Vercel Analytics for aggregate traffic — how many people visit, which pages, where from. It’s cookie-less and doesn’t identify you individually. See Section 7 for details. We don’t run advertising trackers.

3. How we use it

Solely to run Notice Guard for you: analyzing documents you submit, maintaining your schedule, sending the reminder and sign-in emails you’d expect, and billing paid plans. We don’t sell your data, and we don’t use your documents to train any AI model — see Section 5.

4. Who we share it with

Running the service means sending your data to a few specialized processors, each doing one job:

  • Anthropic — receives the document content you submit, to produce the analysis.
  • Supabase — stores your account, documents, and files.
  • Resend — sends and receives the emails Notice Guard sends you, and delivers anything forwarded to your inbound address.
  • Stripe — processes payment for paid plans.

Each operates under its own privacy terms. We don’t share your data with anyone else, and we don’t sell it. We’ll disclose data if legally required to (e.g. a valid court order), and will tell you first unless we’re prohibited from doing so.

5. AI training

Anthropic’s commercial API terms state that content sent through the API isn’t used to train their models. We rely on that commitment and don’t separately use your documents to train, fine-tune, or evaluate any model ourselves.

6. How long we keep it

Documents, their analysis, and your schedule are kept until you delete them or close your account — there’s no automatic expiry today. Deleting a document or your account removes it from our systems immediately; it doesn’t reach copies a third-party processor may retain briefly under its own terms (e.g. Resend’s delivery logs, Stripe’s legally required billing records).

You can export or delete everything from Settings at any time — no need to ask us first.

7. Cookies and analytics

We use only the cookies Supabase’s auth system needs to keep you signed in — we don’t use advertising cookies. We use Vercel Analytics to see aggregate traffic (page views, referrers) — it’s cookie-less and doesn’t track you individually or across other sites.

8. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256, Supabase’s standard for every project). Row-level security scopes every table to your account, and uploaded files live in a private storage bucket only you can read. No system is perfectly secure, but this is how we minimize the risk.

9. Your rights

Wherever you are, you can access, export, correct, or delete your data — Settings handles the first three instantly, or email us and we’ll do it by hand. If you’re in the EU/UK or California, this includes the specific rights those laws give you (access, deletion, portability, and objection to processing); we apply the same practical rights to everyone rather than gating them by region.

10. Children

Notice Guard isn’t directed at children, and you must be at least 18 (or the age of legal majority where you live) to create an account, per our Terms.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If a change is material, we’ll let you know — by email or a notice in the app — before it takes effect.
